The Giving Tree
The Henniker Congregational Church, St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, and
The Henniker Community School works together each year to assist
Henniker families with their gift giving during the Christmas season.
Volunteers are always needed to help organize this event. If you would like to learn more about this program, call Deb Dow at (603) 491-6686.
Food For Friends
The Food 4 Friends Program helps children at risk of hunger during the weekends. Kids are given special backpacks filled with food. A typical pack will contain: a protein (soup, stew, or peanut butter), vegetables, fruits (canned or fresh), and miscellaneous items (fruit juice, multigrain bars, cereal, or pudding cups).
Our food is acquired using donations from the church and the Henniker community, as well as the New Hampshire Food Bank. If you’re looking for ways to participate, please call Deb Dow.
